United Hospital Limited (UHL), one of the leading private healthcare providers of Bangladesh has started post graduation programme — MD and MS courses recently, says a press release.
The multi-specialty tertiary hospital has been permitted to conduct 2-year post-graduate programmes in MS (Cardiac Surgery) and MD (Cardiology) by the government.
The hospital authority has announced that the programme will be launched before the second quarter of 2009 (June-July session). They are expecting to accommodate 6 post graduate candidates for the MS and 6 post graduate candidates for the MD programme (in each case 3 from public and 3 from private sector).
The authority concerned expressed their views that the programme is a part of their mission to offer not only high quality healthcare but also provide quality education to make quality physicians who can deliver high class healthcare of international standards.
