The Apollo Hospitals Dhaka and the Dhaka National Medical College and Hospital (DNMCH) jointly organised a scientific seminar on ‘Cardiac Catheterisation’ at the seminar hall of DNMCH in the city recently, said a press release.
Cardiac catheterisation is a medical procedure used to diagnose and treat certain heart diseases.
Professor MA Bashar, Head of Cardiology of the DNMCH presided over the seminar.
Dipankar Chandra Nag, Associate Professor of the Department of Cardiology, gave an introduction to cardiac catheterisation in the scientific discussion.
Dr Syed Sakib Nazir, Consultant of Interventional Cardiology of the Apollo Hospitals presented a key note paper on the ‘recent updates on cardiac catheterisation and intervention.’
Dr Shenoy Robinson, Director of Medical Services of the Apollo Hospitals made a presentation on service delivery of the posh hospitals.
